Jon Edwards

Jon covers a lot of ground, from managing the creative team to working with clients, vendors and agency partners alike. He keeps his creative tools sharp by staying immersed in the work, writing, designing and building new things whenever possible.

Reasonably understated, Jon will tell you when he thinks you’re wrong, support you when he knows you’re right, and get out of the way when you don’t need the assist. A dry sense of humor that tends to leave people happily befuddled helps soften the blow when he tells you something you may not want to hear.

He has extensive experience in photography (which include the images throughout this site) print and new media design, as well as a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals and philosophy of visual communication, making for a rock-solid foundation. In short, he knows what he’s doing. Jon graduated summa cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design where he studied the core principles of his trade.

Jon’s previous stints include constructing user interface designs and illustrations for online educational preparatory games and websites, acting as art director for a multi-faceted design firm, and later as creative director for a boutique advertising agency where he developed campaigns that have been featured in the Rob Report, the Wall Street Journal and other national publications.

The recipient of multiple industry awards, Jon brings twenty years of experience in design and communication, having worked with companies like Polaris Industries, Tor Publishing, Pan MacMillan, the Florida Department of Education and Eckerd Kids.

Jon, an animal advocate, serves on the board of the Animal Shelter Foundation (ASF). When not working, he finds time to doodle in the margins and spend as much time as he can riding motorcycles, running, writing, reading and spoiling his son Oliver (but not all at the same time).
