Chidozie Acey

Rarely seen without his sketchbook, Chidozie is a studious observer as well as a quick learner. Armed with his drawings, notes and a carefully curated playlist to back him, he’ll produce a slew of stellar designs for whatever project is on his plate.

Prior to life at Taproot, Chidozie graduated at Florida A&M University. He then worked at an agency where he designed illustrations, print materials and websites for such clients as Lauren’s Kids and People’s Trust Insurance. He’s had a hand in numerous ADDY-award-winning projects, including a 2016 national ADDY winner.

At Taproot, Chidozie is part of our web team… and our branding team, and our print and marketing team. Always willing to jump into something new and add to his “designer utility belt,” Chidozie’s range of talents goes well beyond what’s implied by his job title of Graphic Designer.

Outside of the office, Chidozie’s pursuits include training capoeira (an Afro-Brazilian martial art), listening to audio books, spending time with friends and catching up on Naruto and Dragonball Super.

Chidozie graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Graphic Design.
